• Most definitely. You can always change ur ingame settings to 1440p display quality even on a 1080p and see what the frames are.

• It doesn't look like that computer has any output ports that match up with the inputs on the monitor, but without better pictures of the laptop, I can't tell for sure. Your best bet would be to contact MSI's support line, and ask them if the computer has an HDMI or a DisplayPort output that the monitor can connect to. Thanks for asking the question!
