Overall image quality on PC, with the right hardware of course, still puts every other setup to shame because of the speed and smoothness of the visuals. If you're chasing HDR, I'd say go with one of the new consoles and a high quality TV and enjoy the comfort of your couch. This is a great screen for the price - though Samsung have options with a bit larger screen and a curve if that is worth another 200 dollars or so. We all splurge in different contexts. Best wishes.
