• Yes, and end user upgrades do not void the warranty either. This pc uses an AM5 socket (Ryzen 5 8400f is only AM5) and DDR5 ram. The power supply is only 500w so make sure your upgrades will not cause issues with the power.

• as long as the type of cpu matches what this motherboard is compatible with then you can always upgrade. The motherboard changes based on what they have on hand, but id assume most of the motherboards they use for this pc are AM4 sockets.
