“I got two questions. What is the resolution/refresh rate of this panel? On HP's website it's listed as QHDp/165Hz. Here on bestbuy it's listed as FHD/144Hz. I'd also like to know the 6600M's wattage? I know the max is allegedly 100 watts.”

Best buy's model of Omen 16 is rx 6600m and FHD/144hz display. It is $1480. On HP's website, it's probably showing you the maxed out version of the laptop. Most likely having a RX 6800M and Ryzen 9. The version with 1440p/165hz is gonna be more expensive and have better graphics and CPU

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If Best Buy doesn't list the refresh rate on the display, then count on it being a special version released just for them. This means it will likely be a 60Hz display. As for getting a more high-end version, the higher-end version will still have the 6600M in it as that is the only model of AMD GPU that HP has slated to launch in these laptops. However, it will have the Ryzen 9 5900HX as opposed to the 5800H. Do not confuse these for desktop equivalent CPUs, these two CPUs both have the same court count, where the 5900X has a 4 core advantage over the 5800X in the Desktop processor line.
