One cable is for a Usb Passthrough that will allow you to plug in a USB device into the keyboard which send that to the PC. I've never thought of these as useful but I'm sure someone will. The other one is the USB for the keyboard to power it/use it. If you look at the plugs, one has a little image of a keyboard engraved in it. That one powers the keyboard, the other is for the Passthrough.
