Hi Carl, thank you for asking. The Omen 14-fb0013dx transcend has a vivid 2.8K screen with Low Blue Light coating. It is not a matt. display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Both this and my G16 reflect ambient and natural light quite a bit. They look best in controlled lighting. There is a tinge of blueish green especially when direct sunlight hits that is distracting. The coating isn’t straight up glossy like a mirror, it seems to be a special type of coating but definitely is more glossy than matte.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The panel is glossy with a reasonable amount of reflection. More than usable in controlled lighting environments, or in areas with softer lights. The glare is only very apparent when in outdoor situations, or in areas with very bright lights directly opposite the screen.
