Either your question is poorly phrased or you are confused. A laptop does not need a PORT to connect to a WIRELESS network. It needs a wireless connecting device inside the computer, either integrated into the motherboard or as a separate chip/accessory (like the CPU, or RAM, are separate parts). Modern WiFi connectors like these also often integrate the Bluetooth capability. All portable computers have this. If you need to connect to a WIRED connection with a laptop, most laptops (and this is one of them) will require a separate adapter, connected to the computer via a USB PORT, to provide this. The exceptions are business-oriented and gaming portables.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using my computer and connected to my home wifi network right now without having any other devices attached. The only problem I can imagine is if you need to connect by ethernet first -- there's no ethernet port, only USB 3 and C ports.
