Thank you for your interest in this HP OmniBook and your question about printers! All of HP's printers will print out documents: You can partner with a Best Buy associate who will help you. The OfficeJet Pro and LaserJet series printers are great for documents. For checks, you would need to see if MICR inks or toners are required for the checks. To use MICR inks or toners, you would need to purchase a printer along with the refill, that has been modified to use MICR. Best Buy does not carry any MICR printers or their refills.
