Per the USBC 40gb specification, this laptop has displayport capability through that usb. You will need an adapter or dock, but you cau use the usbc to run monitors. Some external monitors can run off of usbc directly, but most use hdmi or Dp. I believe it alsp has an HDMI port directly on the side of the laptop as well, which helps tremendously
