• You can switch the HDMI display if connected to two different computers by a button at the bottom near power On/Off

• I bought a cheap KVM switch for about $20 and now I can use two computers with it.

• Plug both hdmi cables into unit and drag what you are working on to the next screen.

• You don't have to switch unless you have two PC's hooked up to it and both are powered on. It accepts the first signal that reaches one of the HDMI connectors.
