“Specification say, HP Recovery Mgr in in the software with PC. Is this on a drive ( D ) like windows XP and windows 7 was. You could restore the computer to like new out of box, with new install of operating sys and other software that came with computer.”

• The answer is YES. There is a recovery partition on the hard drive.
