I had no problem adding a second 3.5 inch drive once I found the service manual online -- it showed how to open up the cage and mount the new drive. The cable to connect to the motherboard and to the power supply are already there. I just had to initialize the drive and make it active to use. I did not see a simple way to install a second 3.5 inch drive, although there is a space for a disk drive as well as power and mobo connection for it.
