Yes, it does, but it's the vertical kind. You can see it on the left side of the front of the computer from the images shown. It's a little flimsy, but it works just fine. I'm right-handed, so I set up my desktop on the right side of my desk. This model from the year before, loaded the CD/DVD on the right side, so upon opening the disk drive, you had to load your CD or DVD facing AWAY from you :o/. This model loads your CD/DVD from the left side, so now when you open the disk drive, you can load your CD or DVD facing you, so it's easier and more convenient. I hope that helps.
