“When I run the system with 2 monitors ( 1 dp and 1 hdmi ), the system will power off after a few minutes with " Your GPU has exceeded its temperature threshold limits". Use one monitor or the other system runs fine, Does anyone know of a fix ? Thanks”

You should not have an issue running dual 1080p monitors on the RX 580. I recommend reaching out to Best Buy Geek Squad or HP support to assist with this.
