“Why is there an HDMI port at the back top that can't be used? It must be there for a purpose? Also, I see that this PC only holds four monitors and has a PCIe 1x Express slot. Can this be used for another graphics card? We need five monitors.”

The only available expansion slot on this desktop is the PCI-E 1 slot. The PCI-E 16 slot is being occupied by the Radeon RX580 card. According to the specifications from HP, there should be 1 HDMI port with 3 DisplayPorts on the desktop now. The other HDMI port may be not be usable since there is a discrete card installed. That usually means the integrated card is not available.
