You can add faster RAM to the computer but it will only run at the motherboards maximum supported speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, I am extremely confused. HP.com shows that the "Sunflower" motherboard takes PC4-19200 DRR4-2400 RAM. I never knew that "DRR" was a thing? Typos can be forgiven and all but I wonder if they typo'ed anything else like, you know, the numbers that actually matter? https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-690-0000-pc-series/19769765/model/22909853/document/c05939208 I would suspect this PC comes with 8 GB of PC4-19200 (or 19.2GB transferred per second) and DDR4-2400 (or 2,400 megatransfers per second).
