NO unless you are planning to play in 4k that I will not recommend for every single game. Ex. Assassins Creed Origin will show you how much VRAM you will need. @4k High or Ultra you will need more than 4. @1440 Ultra you will be fine but performance will not be great. Other Games like Overwatch, Dirt 3 they Run Fine @ 4h with this. But the card is not designed for 4k so for 1080 you will be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 4gb RX580 in my build (with 16GB RAM) and I run lots of games on high frame rates. Of course I do not use a 4k monitor which would put nearly 4x the strain on my computer as my current monitor but the 4GB card works well. I may upgrade to 8GB later but I do not find it a high priority as much as upgrading the PSU and such.
