• The standard audio jacks do fit into the computer. You will have to push it quite a bit the first few times when you just get the computer but later on, it should fit comfortably.

• It is a standard 3.5mm headphone port. Are you using the correct port? I just tried on a reference model and it plugs in perfectly.
