What is the maximum RAM we can add? null

You can upgrade to a maximum of 32GB of RAM.

Please check the service and maintenance guide and do not mislead customers. This model won't support 32 GB of memory. It will support a maximum of 16GB. This will support 1 16GB memory module and 2 8GB. Link to it: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06615619 Page 1 of the manual.

On the latest bios you can upgrade to 32 gigs of ram. Knowledge source, i put 2 8-gb ram chips in mine.

Some have replied that you cannot upgrade the memory. Others have said that if you read page 1 of the manual, it says that you can upgrade it to 16 gig. My interpretation of the manual is that, according to page 49, the motherboard is equipped with 2 memory slots under the memory cover. You have to look carefully at the drawing. The manual also cites part numbers for 4 gig, 8 gig, and 16 gig DIMM Modules. If the memory were soldered on, and thus not upgradeable, then why would they cite part numbers for DIMM Modules?? Also, the next diagram illustrates how to insert a DIMM module into a DIMM slot. So, yes you can upgrade it, and yes, if you selected (2) of the 16 gig modules, you could achieve 32 gig of total RAM capacity. You cannot add memory at all to this PC, you can upgrade the NVMe storage only.
