• Yes it has a sound card. There is just not built in speakers. You have a small port with earphones on the front of the machine that you can you use your plug in ear buds that will work with your phone. That works fine. There is also a area on the back for external speakers and a microphone plug in the back. You just have to plug something into hear sound.
