The printer has a "clean printhead" routine built into it. So you can run that (possibly several times if the printheads are really clogged. Typically, however, if you turn the printer off on the printer itself (not by using something like a power strip's "off" button the printer will cap the print heads, which will greatly extend the time before you need to run the "clean printhead" routine.
