Hello, Dale. This HP Smart Tank 7301 Printer can only scan one side at a time through the auto document feeder (ADF) on top. You would need to manually turn the paper over.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not do duplex scanning. Not one of those scanners that scans one page and flip the page over let alone scanning both sides at once. And not only that – it does at maximum of only 300 dots per inch and very slowly. You will be frustrated if you have a stack of something to be scanned.
