• Hello, Dale. This HP Smart Tank 7301 Printer can only scan one side at a time through the auto document feeder (ADF) on top. You would need to manually turn the paper over.

• You can scan multiple documents (one side only) in the ADF; however, there are instructions for reloading the documents and scanning a second side.

• It does not do duplex scanning. Not one of those scanners that scans one page and flip the page over let alone scanning both sides at once. And not only that – it does at maximum of only 300 dots per inch and very slowly. You will be frustrated if you have a stack of something to be scanned.
