“This says 4k on the description and if you look up the model on hp's site it says 4k, but the description here says 1080p..so is this 4k or not? seems like it should be for price point”

There are different options available, but yes, this particular variant does have a 4K IPS micro-edge WLED-backlit touch screen with Corning® Gorilla® Glass NBT™ (3840 x 2160)
