The HP Stream does not have a lot of storage and it is not very fast. You would have approximately half of the storage available due to the space the operating system takes. You can get online and play videos online. And it does come with a 1 year of Microsoft Office Personal to use. You might like a better laptop with a faster processor and more storage.
