Will this work with Java based programs? null

Ofc if you have a java compilation setup.

You would have to switch this laptop out of S mode to install Java-based programs. I would not recommend this laptop for Java, the specs will not run full Windows 10 well. I would look for a model that has at least an Intel i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 CPU and a 128GB hard drive at least.
