Unfortunately, there is no standard method of measuring battery life, the way there is, for example, CPU performance. This means it is impossible to compare one company’s computer’s battery use vs. another. Some manufacturers do provide details on how they measured it, but this is a rarity. The best way to find this information is to search out reviews by trusted tech publications, where they give detailed explanations of their procedures, as well as comparisons to comparable models.

Actual battery life can depend on many different factors, including but not limited to applications running in the foreground and background, as well as searching for WiFi, display settings, and other computer settings such as eco mode. That said, the standard life for this battery under testing is up to 9 hours and 45 minutes - it can charge to approximately 50% in 30 minutes as well.

There, you will find three typical types of computer use, and the battery life corresponding with each. I still say you should read reviews, but this may be a helpful shortcut to what you need.
