“Can a standard 45w HP charger be used on this laptop or does it require the 200w charger it comes with?”

• Thank you for your question on this HP Victus! Since the USB-C port does not support power delivery, you will not be able to use a 45W charger with this.

• You can probably use the lower output charger, but it won't meet the charge speeds quoted, and will take much longer to fully charge the laptop (or possibly even minimally power it for plugged-in use).
