If you replace the SSD, it will no longer have the OS. You would need to use a clone software to copy over all the existing files. Microsoft will allow you to download and reinstall the OS but it depends on what type of activation the current OS has. I would check on their site and see what they say If going the Clone route, I've been using CloneZilla for years. It's free. Download it and run from a thumb drive. You would need a USB to NVME adapter to connect the old NVME to so the clone software can transfer everything between the old and new drive.
