“Can I mix and match ram sticks like for example if i want to add a 16gb stick on top of the 8gb stick the laptop has, of the same frequency ofc, will it affect gameplay or have any other performance issues if try to run dual channel?”

It won’t have any issues. I have that exact set up in mine right now and it runs great. As long as both ram cards are ddr4
