• Hi, and thank you for asking the question! If you have to use the USB-C port, then the HDMI port does nothing for you. The advantage of DP 1.4 comes about if you have multiple monitors daisy changed together. I'm not sure why you're asking about the capabilities of the HDMI output if you've got to use the USB-C for your output.
