I purchased "G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR5 SO-DIMM Series DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 4800MT/s CL34-34-34-76 1.10V Unbuffered Non-ECC Notebook/Laptop Memory SODIMM (F5-4800S3434A16GA2-RS)" off of Amazon for mine. Worked great. Had to watch a video to be able to access the memory slots.

Thank you for your question on the HP Victus gaming laptop and its expandability! The line only goes up to 16 GB total in a 2x8GB single-channel configuration, per the documentation. However, the HP Omen series laptops can handle 16 GB memory modules right out of the box.

RAM can be very finicky. Save yourself the headache and stick to what is recommended (by HP or any valid website).
