“I'm upgrading the ram for higher level gameplay. I want to maximize the ram and I'm getting mixed answers. I've heard that the memory slots only supports 2x 8gb 4800mhz ram cards. I'm also hearing 2 16gb 5600mhz. What will it handle without waste?”

Don't take this response from HP to be final. 16GB may be the size THEY have tested, but users report 32GB (some even 64GB), Check other's answers.

At worst, you would just have to return it and then go for the next lowest level. Keeping that in mind, 32GB is really more than most people actually need, even for gaming. Of course, you aren't necessarily "most" people.
