• Thank you for your question on this HP Victus laptop! The memory frequencies and timing should match. The board is specced for 4800MHz memory.

• RAM can be very finicky, so you should stick to what is recommended in the HP website or manual, or what you can find on websites of principal RAM sellers, such as Kingston, PNY, MemoryStock, etc.
