“Say I wanted to solder a new gpu in my laptop other than an amd series one like the rtx 3060 solder. Would the laptop system be compatible with it since other versions have the rtx 3060? Or would I need to do something else in order to get the rtx 3060?”

Abdi, thank you for your question about this HP Victus! The board on this does not support the RTX 3060 graphics chip. HP offers a variety of Victus and Omen gaming models in Best Buy stores that are equipped with nVidia GeForce RTX cards in them.
