There are THREE maximums listed for the RAM: 16, 32, and 64GB, so I would check the website for a definite answer. As to upgrading it yourself, check the warranty. If user upgrades void the warranty, you might want to rethink either the purchase or the activity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both yes. Apparently tops out at 64. Keep in mind there is only ONE drive slot. Even though they give you a "psyche" by screenprinting the litterlal spot where another was either planned for or just shares board design with one that does.

Any upgrades will require a technician to perform them, as the RAM and SSD are not user accessible. Please contact HP Support to determine if the laptop can be upgraded beyond that.
