• Hi Grady, The variant I ordered had 2x4GB sticks. I replaced it with a 2x8GB kit. I used DDR4-3200 SODIMM, with no issues whatsoever. I pasted a link below for reference. https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfra32a

• It comes with 1x8GB ram, so there is a open ram slot for expansion.

• I only know that it has 8gb of ram. I don't know the model of ram. I think it would be better if you asked the Geek Squad. I just bought mine a few weeks ago.
