This is pretty thin, maybe an inch at it highest point if you don't use the feet.

I've had 2 for the past 7-8 years and no problems. It doesn't like when coffee is spilled in it. The low sound is great when you have to be on the phone /headsets and typing in the background. Love, love, love.
