I tried it a bit and it seems to worked. Tried going around 145 or 150hz on Nvidia Control Panel on my brother's laptop and it seems fine but didnt register as the new refresh rate for some reason. I wouldn't OC to 165hz if its not possible at all but you never know. Try goin in increments by about 2hz and see which one is stable.
