- Answer Thank you for the question. Speed is relative. For general home computing and multi-tasking, the 8GB of RAM and 3.50 GHz turbo processing speed will be fine. For gaming and apps that require more processing power, it may still be a good choice, but it depends on the requirements of the app you're using. We suggest that you review the system requirements of the apps you're likely to use to confirm that this system will be adequate.

- Answer The earliest version of the processor that Microsoft supports for Windows 11 is an 8th generation Intel processor, which is newer than the 7th geration in this computer. That doesn't mean that it absolutely won't work, but if you try and install it and have problems, neither Microsoft nor HP will be able to offer you technical support to resolve the problems.
