• Best Buy can sell you a nano sim for $4.99 that works with T-Mobile. My transition was smooth and effortless. I can't speak about the other networks.

• Go to the Google Nexus Help Forum for validation but the answer is YES, it's a world phone and if one rep at VZW say's it won't then find someone with more experience because they will have a sim that works for this phone.
