I have not experienced this issue. I can only suggest to start with a factory reset.

If you have the Honor 8 on a car charger while it is in the, check whether the charger is the one issued with the phone. Smaller capacity chargers or computer USB connector have restrictions on current when charging. When the battery is over-discharged there is insufficient current to start the phone, leading to repeated restarts. Try using the charger issued with the phone. If the battery power is completely drained, charge your phone for more than 10 minutes before powering it on again.
