• Yes, it will work - I got this for my dad who had the Cricket Samsung J3 but wanted a bit nicer, faster and larger phone. He took it to the Cricket store and they just popped his SIM card out of the J3 and stuck it in his new Huawei Honor 8 - it worked immediately.

• Yes, it can be used with Cricket; they use the GSM radio frequency and is compatible with Huawei Honor 8. This is the carrier I use and is the phone that I have.
