“For the front legs; once the bolts are in their respective holes, should the front feet attachment "wiggle" at all or should it be firmly in place? We've got each bolt in its housing by ~90%, but they're becoming more and more difficult to screw in.”

Ours screwed in tight. It does not wiggle at all.
