I would. The machine is heavy. When you get going at the higher paces it is possible there might be a small amount of movement which could scratch or damage the floor. Without a mat, it would likely move even more. I wouldn't risk it for the $80 the mat costs. We looked at other mats but they seemed too thin to be effective.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would highly recommend it. We have similar flooring where the HYDROW is and we purchased the heavy duty HYDROW mat. Well worth the extra $90. It is not the same one they sell in the kit at Best Buy, but is available online through Best Buy and HYDROW. It is nice and definitely protects the floors . The machine does not move while using, but just the constant pressure and potential friction would not be good on the flooring.
