You can. You will be able to set your drag or resistance, see basic workout info snd choose two options for your rowing view as if you’re on the water. However, as someone who was initially tentative about the “paid for” content - the content and trainers are actually very good (IMO). For example, they guide you through the workout, change pace, focus on different aspects - the actual rowing motion, pace, breathing, endurance snd are overall very encouraging. Not once has a trainer said to drink more water and reduce calories. It’s purely about rowing technique and having a good time. There are also other aspects of the content like yoga, etc. I would offer you can use it without the content, but there are much cheaper options that would suffice if you wanted a pure rowing machine.
