• Hi, Pedalling will reduce the battery usage and allow longer range but it will not charge the battery. We would recommend to contact the supplier directly with any warranty issues. Many thanks, Diane

• While I was low on battery I would turn it off and start peddling and they would conserve battery. I don’t think the battery charges but it definitely when you turn it off and just use it as bike.
