“Will this item work with the new iPad Pro 12.9 (4th Gen)? If not, can you recommend what will?”

• It works fine on the iPad Pro 11 2020. I don’t see why it wouldn’t on the 12.9. However, I will mention this, there are other options out there that are cheaper that do the same thing. The USB-C port on the adapter is only for charging. I was disappointed as I have mine hooked to a Magic Keyboard with trackpad and would’ve liked an actual USB-C data port since the keyboard charges my iPad. It looks nice, but it isn’t all that stable whilst plugged in either. Main issue is over priced for only a couple extra ports.

• Yes it worked on mine. With a cover I had to use the extension, but still worked well. Without cover it connected excellently.
