Im not for certain, it's a membrane keyboard, didn't see anything about it. If you remove the caps it only has a square, my corsair keyboard has spring clips to remove the buttons to change the buttons out. This one doesn't. I did find this. What switches are in the alloy core RGB? The HyperX Alloy Core RGB is a budget keyboard with rubber dome switches and shouldn't be compared to other mechanical gaming keyboards. Overall, it feels like a regular office keyboard with basic RGB backlighting and is very similar to the Razer Cynosa Chroma.Feb 10, 2020

I purchased them for a different keyboard, but ending up using this starter membrane keyboard. The keys light up very bright. They're a little noisy, but not bad. It's an excellent keyboard for $29 (on sale). If you don't purchase HyperX keycaps, check the brand you decide to purchase to make sure they will fit on this keyboard.
