“Is this keyboard good for beginners? I really want this keyboard but I keep hearing mechanical is way better. I don’t want to be playing with a delay like I click a button and 2 seconds later it appears on my screen is there a big delay ?”

• Very good for beginners, one of the best actually. It is instant when you press a button and mechanical is more expensive and also is instant when you press, so depends if you want a membrane keyboard or a mechanical.

• There is almost no delay, about 1-3 milliseconds off the top of my head. The “better ness” of mechanical keyboards is that that often have more features, are expensive, and have a very clicky sound and feel to them. The delay in the keyboard presses depend on the length of the cable, or in case of Bluetooth, the signal latency. If you have never used a mechanical keyboard and don’t want to break the bank, this is the perfect keyboard. The cable is braided too.
