Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.7.1 is a nice touch and for me, you can hear slight differences in sound. However, it's not a dealbreaker but the 7.1 sound card allows you to mute the mic and adjust volume. Without it, you would have to adjust the settings manually within xbox or which ever platform your using. Sound is okay, nothing to hype about but overall , differently one of the best headsets within its price range. You can get better sounding headphones using an amp paired with audiotechnia, senn, etc. No complaints though.
